Why Microchip?
Microchipping is the most reliable way to ensure your pet is returned home. Unlike collars and tags, which can be lost or removed, a microchip is a permanent, electronic identifier implanted under the skin. It works in conjunction with a database to provide instant, direct contact with the owner when your pet is found.
About me
I live in Warminster with 5 of my own dogs. 2 working springer spaniels and 3 working cocker spaniels. They are my world and Paddy, my first springer, started the spaniel addiction 12 years ago!
I've been around dogs for most of my life. I have previously been self employed, walking and training dogs in Dorset and completed my canine first aid training.
2 of my cocker boys are standing at stud, please get in touch if you’re looking for a fully health tested, kennel club registered working cocker spaniel.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is microchipping safe for my pet?
Yes, microchipping is a safe, non-invasive procedure that has been used for decades. It involves a small needle insertion under the skin, similar to a vaccination, and is performed under professional supervision.
How does the microchip work?
The microchip contains a unique identification number that is linked to your contact information on the animal tracker database. When scanned by a reader, it sends back your pet's ID to help reunite them with their owners.
Do I need to update my contact information?
Absolutely. We recommend updating your details every 2-3 years or immediately after a move. You can easily update your records through our secure online portal or by contacting our office directly.
Is microchipping mandatory?
Microchipping is legal, mandatory, and regulated in the UK. All dogs over eight weeks old must be microchipped. In England, it is mandatory to have owned cats over 20 weeks old microchipped.
How often should I have my pet scanned?
We suggest having your pet scanned for the first time within 3 months of microchipping. After that, a scan every 1-2 years is sufficient to ensure the chip is still active and readable.
